I forgot to mention this:

During the last week I’ve been mainly getting bedrest, watching Hindi movies with Ritu (Bollywood, Bollywood, Bollywood!) and reading. I read two graphic novels (one very dark Batman, and Alan Moore’s V for Vendetta, which were very good. I’m almost finished Ursula K. Le Guin’s The Telling, which is also a good novel in many ways. The evenings have been nice, just relaxing and talking with Ritu and John, and Koko’s birthday yesterday was my first time for more than an hour in days (though now I’m healthy enough to almost be able to do it again), and quite eventuful. What a party: 15 kids running about. Ritu’s posted some pics, and I’ll post more on my photoblog when I get a chance.

I forgot to mention this amusing story, but Ritu wrote about it on her livejournal. I think she tells the story best:

Before I forget….

One of Koko’s friends dropped in to see her two days ago. The kids walked into the room to collect some dolls and toys and Koko’s friend stopped to look at Gord. Koko noticed her interest and said, ‘This is Gord Uncle. We got him from the airport. He lives in Korea.’

I wonder if she thinks airports are like supermarkets…
