What’s this? Ah, yes, that’s what it is.

It seems one of my molars just broke. Not terribly. I can’t even be sure it wasn’t capping or some such thing that broke off. But there’s tiny patch of white inner tooth revealed.

Doesn’t hurt. Might wait till after my morning classes to drop by the dentist’s. Or I might go directly. Hmmm.

UPDATE: Nope, this was a piece of real tooth surrounding a filling that snapped right off. And I wish it had come off in one piece, instead of fragmented, and that I hadn’t mistaken it for some spice in the little piece of chocolate I was eating at the time. Then I wouldn’t have chewed it up and swallowed it, and it could have been remounted.

Did you know they can remount broken-off pieces of tooth, and if you have one, you should put it in milk? It’s true. I didn’t know that.

In a couple of hours, I’ll be going off to the dentist’s milkless and feeling rather silly. But, it still doesn’t hurt and there’s still no blood.
