Dabang Band — Pig Over Seoul (2002)

Warning: 진정한 한국 외국인 만든 인디록 이다!

Pig Over Seoul cover Produced in my first year in the band, and also during my first year in South Korea, this album is no longer available in traditional media… apparently the CDs have all sold out. Therefore, I’ve got the full album online for anyone who wants to download and listen and enjoy. I plan on adding a subpage all in Korean, offering it for download (or perhaps offering a Bittorrent for the album), and when I do, I’ll add cover and interior art, but for now, it’s just the tracks.

Please note that we has some help from guests on this album: the band personnel is the same as above, but the following are added:Hyo Sang Yoon plays slide guitar on Track #10, and Dae Gwi Hwang plays guitar on track #9. In addition, that’s me narrating one of my poems on Track #8. I had a dreadful flu that day and my voice doesn’t really sound like that most of the time. The poem, incidentally, was published in Matrix Magazine, out of Montreal, in issue 59, back in 2001.

The album was in part funded by the appearance we made at the Ssamzie Sori Festival in 2002. A couple of videos of that performance have turned up, and I’ve posted them to my main Music page.
