Stop interviewing Tom Cruise. You’re just encouraging him. Please just ignore him and he’ll shut up. Don’t call him, don’t ask him questions, don’t treat anything he says as if it’s worth noting, because it’s rather worth nothing. Don’t talk to him. Cut him off, okay? That is, unless you’re got a plan to mock, humiliate, and refute him. Normal interviews are just encouraging him. And probably the mockeries will inflame him and thus encourage him too. And we’ve all seen just about enough of that nut.
The ongoing slowdown
Right. You probably have noticed my posting rate has slowed down some. I intend to keep that slowdown in effect, even though I’m back from my travels. I have far too many things to do to keep blogging as extensively as I had been doing earlier in the year. Most important now is getting my writing submitted to magazines and my novel edited and into the hands of an able, appropriate agent. Weird Trackback Spam
Okay, most of it is weird in that it links back to XXX/bestiality/enlarge-your-member-type sites, but seriously: I just deleted a bunch of trackback spam that didn’t connect to anywhere at all. All the links back looked as if they were connecting to sites on the same couple of servers, since the error messages looked were unique to the sites, and they looked pretty similar in a few cases. What would the point be of sending out trackback spam for pages or posts that don’t even exist? Pretty stupid… if you ask me.
