Go Get a Humble eBook Bundle! (Yes, I’m in it.)

I’ve been enjoying Humble Bundles since last year, when I bought my first Humble Game Bundle pack (I’ve bought two of them so far, which is more games than I know what to do with). A friend of mine who knew about this excitedly contacted me the other day, to inform me that they have Humble Bundles for ebooks now!

I knew already, of course, because… one of my stories is in the current Humble eBook Bundle II. It’s part of the original Machine of Death anthology, which was added to the Humble Book Bundle a few days ago. I’ve been meaning to post about it, but it slipped my mind multiple times…

Anyway, there are some worthwhile books there, and frankly, I just think the Humble Bundle concept is cool–cool enough that it may be one way forward for ebook publication, among the multiple ones being sought out now — and anyway, it’s surely worth checking out. A screengrab, for posterity’s sake:

… and if you’re interested, click the screengrab (or click here) to go buy yourself a bundle of books. There are only a couple of days left before this bundle finishes out, and even if one or two of those books don’t interest you, the price for the rest (if you pay around the average amount, which I assume most people do) is still relatively good on a per-book basis.
