Uzbekistan, huh?
via Registan.net, news about where Roh Mu Hyun is planning to go next month: South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun will make a state visit to Uzbekistan May 10-12 for summit talks with Uzbek President Islam Karimov on ways of promoting bilateral relations, Chong Wa Dae spokesman Kim Man-soo said Thursday. Hmmm. No comment except to say I hope they get along. America and Japan seem quite unhappy with South Korea, and it’s a good thing to have friends somewhere. And in an unrelated note, but from the same blog, here’s a link to a post about the revolution in Kyrgyzstan.
