Wandering is what I’ve taken up as my task for today. I needed some time away from the writing and noticed the power was out this morning, so I just got out of the house early and wandered down the hill. I ended up walking through the area where a lot of Tibetan families live, and saw the funniest game of cricket beng played by a bunch of local boys, including a teenaged monk in his monastic robes. A weird turn of events…

Yes, in a weird turn of events, I was casting about on how to out certain things that are going on in the background of my novel. I was frustrated, and flipping through a book by a certain Chomsky fellow (calm down, John Wendel, hahaha)and I arrived at the perfect character, except he’s a Kurd, and I know only enough to know that a Kurdish terrorist character would perfectly fit the weird turn of events that I’m writing into the background of my novel. Heavy Text Flow Day

I’m certainly doing better than I was yesterday. I ran into a bunch of people I knew, all together, and I really wanted to go out with them, but I was feeling so ill I warned them away, telling them I was sick sick sick and that they’d best stay clear.
