Nearly False Alarm

I saw the dentist today and it turns out it was merely sensitivity caused by a slight infection. I have meds to take and sleep to get, but I will note that he took a drill to the tooth in question; I think he scaled it, and if that’s the case, then I’m not sure I wanna get that done on Friday. It kind of stung and freaked me out a little — it never quite hurt, but a lot of the time it felt like it was just about to start hurting. But, I haven’t had my teeth scaled in years, and once in a blue moon I guess it’s a good idea. So, I suppose, I will go through with it. But I suspect I shall intensely dislike it.

  1. *brrr* I need to get an appt for a dentist as well – I haven’t been for about 7 years… or maybe more like 9… and I KNOW I have some drilling and stuff to be expected. Yikes.

  2. Ew, that will not be fun. But might not be as bad as you expect. I didn’t see a dentist for about that long and at first there were almost no problems.

But you *should* do it soon!

  3. I know – but now that I’m back in Finland and this kind of things are easily arrangeable (or familiar, at least)… I can put it off for a while longer. After all, I can do it anytime I want.

    Perfectly logical, no? :D
