I don’t know if it’s because of a change in sleep habits, but I’ve been having a lot of vivid dreams. Now, I’m told that I grind my teeth in my sleep, and if these dreams are any indication of my usual dreaming pattern, I can see why. I don’t remember any of my dreams usually, but these days they’re all semi-present when I awaken, and they’re definitely NOT pretty.
The snippet I remember at this moment was being at a hospital. A bunch of orphaned Korean children had come through some kind of awfulness — I’m not sure whether it was a warzone, a zombie attack, or some kind of plague outbreak — and guess who was one of the ones instructed to boot them from the hospital for having no insurance? So I left the hospital and decided to lead them to real civilization, even if we’d have to pry it from the cold dead hands of the people who were denying the children succor. And there was, of course, no shortage of such uncivilized adults around. Funniest thing was, they ended up leading me. I was just their extra muscle.
Hmm. Kinda sounds like an interesting short story set in a post-Apocalyptic world. But I’m sure it has something to do with being around kids all day.
