I received the W25,000 ($25 CDN) used bookcase that I bought last night. Delivery was free. I spent a few hours this evening rearranging stuff from the one jammed-full bookcase and the floorspace surrounding it, to the second bookcase. I have a feeling that I am correct that using a second bookshelf to store my stuff will make cleaning house regularly less of a chore… because there will be less to pick up from the floor and move when I want to sweep and mop. Know When To Quit

A couple of days late on the F5 this week, but Dan asked: Some folks don’t know to quit when they’re ahead. As such, there have been some really bad sequels, trilogies, and series installments foisted upon a soon-to-be-disillusioned fan-base. So, which are the worst five cases of N+1 when they should have stopped at N? I’m mostly thinking of books and movies, though some other form would be acceptable. Gaaaaaa.

I sometimes really hate provincialism in computer programmers. I finished calculating all of my students’ grades this evening, and decided to enter them into the University system using my home computer, which of course has an English OS installed. What do you know, but once I finally managed to get into the system, it’s running a script that won’t load on my OS. Why this is, I don’t know, but the way the thing is coded, it will only run on Korean-only machines. I mean, I have Korean installed on this computer, and all, it’s just that the default language …
