The frustrations of switching over to new blog software have finally kicked in, and I’ve now learned that I will simple have to start again with php and learn how to code things up with it, the way I learned with all those tags in Movable Type. I’m halfway to achieving my goal through template manipulations alone: that is, having a display of the last ten posts of one category show up not inline, but only in the sidebar. What “Under Reconstruction” Means
Hey everyone. Be warned: I’m tinkering with this site, and features will be added and disappear and reappear differently. For example, I’ve implemented one plugin to make sidebar “asides” available, as you can see unde the “short, maybe not sweet” section of my sidebar. There’s an RSS feed, too. Thing is, the posts there aren’t included in my main content storage, so when I export my entries, I can’t export anything from the sidebar posts. So I’m probably going to rethink this and find a new way to implement it so that all the content is stored somewhere exportable. So …
