I wrote a nice long review of the Korean movie 괴물 (The Host), and another (shorter) review of the book Hand to Mouth by Paul Auster. However, Firefox locked up and they were lost to the ether. I’m not going to reconstruct them today, but maybe later. Argh. Time to do a bit of writing, and then reading, and then sleep.

My Eye and Pumpkin
I had my good eye tested today. Doc says I have some condensation in the vitreous (sp?) fluid in my eye, and that this is unusual for someone of my age (usually we see that in people in their 50s), but that I shouldn’t worry too much and that it won’t bug me after I get used to it. Too Late But Fun
During a marking break, I finally got a chance to experiment with the mashup tool that Yahoo created for the San Francisco International Film Festival. I was too late to be eligible for my video mashup to be entered into the contest and played on the big screen, but it was fun nonetheless.
