One of the first friends I ever made in Korea sent me this cartoon, instructing me to send it to whichever girl I like best. While I’m posting fake funny stuff, here are a couple of “fake advertisements” I used in my graduate thesis. They were stuck into a story. The idea for the first one was stolen from one of Bruce Sterling’s Viridian List posts. The second came from my own twisted mind.

This article in The Onion hits the nail on the head when it comes to boredom flirtation: Sorta-Attractive Girl Half-Heartedly Hit On. It’s a dumb thing to do, but I remember having done it once or twice in the past. And it’s funny, when you put it this way… makes you realize that doing that is such a waste of time. Better to go off and find someone really worth the bother… :)
