Tuckerizations

So I need to work out a list of my sponsors to be Tuckerized into my story, and names to use. Some are very easy, some less so, since my story is set in Korea and most (but not all) of the characters will be Koreans, followed by Chinese and Japanese, with a few Americans thrown in. So if there’s an Asiatic-sounding name you prefer, feel free to specify it. (I’m also working on short stories as I go, so I could always work some of you westerner-types into one of those.)

You don’t need to leave a comment here, but please go feel free to email me (use “Contact” in the navbar at the top of the page if you don’t have my email) to let me know your preferences.

For a couple of you (the ones who emailed me to say they are sponsoring me) unless you have a strong preference, I’ve got ideas for how I’m going to work your names into the story. I’ll email you in the next few days to let you know of my plans so you can veto if you like.

For those who haven’t sponsored me, this is your chance at immortality, or, well, pulp-duration mortality-in-print, anyway.

  1. Where does Tuckerized come from? Elmore Leonard has been nameing characters after real people (proceeds are donated to charity) for a few years, so shouldn’t it be a Leonardization?
