By the way, I’m pretty sure that it wasn’t “Blame It On The Rain” or “Girl You Know It’s True” (let alone “Girl You Know It’s True [N.Y. Subway Extended Mix]”), so I think that Milli Vanilli song was probably called “I’m Gonna Miss You.” Is that right? If not, you can job your memory by following the link on the band’s name above. Hee. I’d forgotten that those lip-synchers had won Best New Artist in the Grammys. That’s insane. But then the Grammys suck so who cares?
The Last Few Days…
… have been really good. Let’s see: I’m walking again. Yay! I went down into CP the other day to wander about. It was a half-day thing, but my first time actually going out alone in Delhi. Not harrowing in the slightest. Quite nice. Saw some interesting things and especially found a portable tambora I have my eye on. I toured Old Delhi with Ritu. We went to the spice bazaar, then stopped for lunch, visited a small Shiva shrine because an ancient Shiva temple nearby was closed, proceeded onto Jamma Masjid (spelling?)—which is the biggest mosque in India, with …

So, I just ended an email with the most bizarre (true) sentence: We’re running late for some kind of Sikh Festival bonfire harvest party next door so we’re ordering Maha-burgers and making do… Off I go!
