Wow, That Was Cool…
Well, it’s about 24 hours (Korean time) till my birthday officially starts, and what I did I do this evening? I had dinner with the guys in the band, and recorded a track for my friend Dae Gui’s CD. It’s quite pretty, really, and I hope he puts it online so that I too can share it on my site. It took some doing, about two and a half hours for a few little sax parts, but I was starting from scratch so that’s not so bad. And I think, once it’s mixed down, it should really come out nice. …

Shawn just pointed out that there’s an upside-down pentagram pentacle on the sign of the university where we work, which is a Christian university. Do you see it? You can click on the image to see it nice and big. We in the office wonder exactly what this may signify… but register very little surprise.
Okay, then…
So the day’s been kind of busy, even though I’m not really teaching much today. I woke to a text-message from a very nice friend who wished me luck on the first day of classes. After that, I rushed to school and started my first class, the thirty students of which only one showed up. The next class was populated by a bunch of good kids from the freshman class of law students I taught last term, which was a pleasant surprise.
