Weekend Update

Well, I managed to work out on Saturday morning, before meeting up with my friend Mike from Jeonju. We hung out for the weekend: good food, lots of good conversation, a little beer. It was a pretty good weekend, and I’m feeling more settled for the week to come, though it will be hectic. Life is so utterly hectic that I’ve barely had time to relax, let alone write any of the posts I was planning to this week. However, I’ve now really gotten into the swing of this office hours thing. Project Online Grocery Ordering: Success! (#1?)

Well, I promised an update when I finally managed to make an online grocery order all on my own, and today, that was my biggest achievement. The lucky site was…. Emart. As I related a while back (first here, then here), Homeplus rapidly fixed one text field on its website when Lime ranted about how I wasn’t able to register, and then was told, “Oh, sorry, nothing can be done!” and then emailed the Korean Head Office. Back in One Piece, More or Less

I’m back in Korea. I should have left my camera at home: Fukuoka was rainy and grey, and though being there was pleasant, I didn’t feel like shooting any pictures, so the camera was just unnecessary weight. Will never again travel with my big huge brown briefcase: it’s just too heavy. One other annoyance was that my netbook was useful for writing, but not for getting online.
